MEET THE FOUNDER

Dr. Hend Alqaderi is an Assistant Professor in Dental Public Health and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. She earned her Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in Oral Biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, she holds certificates in Health Economics from the University of Washington, and Data Science and Machine Learning from MIT. Additionally, Dr. Alqaderi is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

With seven years of service as faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Alqaderi also served as the interim program director of the Dental Public Health Residency at Harvard. Her outstanding contributions to research have been acknowledged through various awards, including the 2021 L’Oréal-UNESCO Award for Talented Women in Science, Harvard University’s Lois Cohen Prize for excellence in Global Health Research, and the Leverett Graduate Merit Award from the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. She is an esteemed fellow of the American Academy of Dental Science.

Dr. Alqaderi is a dynamic speaker, having delivered a TED Talk in Doha, Qatar, in March 2023, highlighting her groundbreaking research in saliva. Actively involved in academia, she serves on multiple thesis advisory committees and has an extensive history of mentoring doctoral and master’s candidates on their theses.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Alqaderi has conducted clinical studies in both the U.S. and the Middle East, with a primary research focus on exploring the integration between oral and systemic health.

Dr. Hend Alqaderi is an accomplished expert in dental and public health with a Doctoral Degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and additional certificates in AI, Machine Learning (MIT), and Health Economics (University of Washington). She is currently an Assistant Professor at Tufts University and a Public Health Researcher at the Dasman Diabetes Institute in Kuwait. Formerly, she held faculty and leadership roles at Harvard University. A Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dental Science, Dr. Hend Alqaderi has received numerous awards, including the 2021 L’Oréal-UNESCO Award for Talented Women in Science. She is also a TED Talk speaker and has authored over 30 scientific publications.
